Founded in 1989, CTMS was the vision of Robert L. Vann, M.D. Seeing a need in the pharmaceutical industry for a CRO that could combine clinical expertise with a strong commitment to quality, Dr. Vann set forth to be “not just another CRO.”
When CTMS opened in Bristol, TN, Dr. Vann and his colleagues had more than 100 years of combined experience. That experience provided a strong foundation for the company, and in the years since its formation, we have continually expanded on this foundation.
Today CTMS employs more than 140 well-trained professionals. Our headquarters in Bristol, TN, have expanded, and we have a second location in Winston-Salem, NC. Between our two sites, we now have nearly 36,000 square feet of office space. From both locations, we work with sponsors and investigative sites throughout North America.
